What Does 2B Mean?
2B is a smooth, moderately reflective cold-rolled finish produced after annealing and pickling or descaling, followed by a light final pass on polished rolls. It is a common general-purpose mill finish, but appearance can vary by mill, coil and processing history.
Appearance note: If visual consistency matters, define the acceptable reference sample, side to be inspected, protective film, grain direction if later polished, and whether sheets from one coil or heat are required.
