Short Description:
316L stainless steel seamless tubing for corrosion-resistant process and equipment service. For quotation, specify the applicable product standard, OD, wall thickness, length and surface requirement. ASTM A269 is used for tubing; ASTM A312 applies when stainless steel pipe is required.
316L Stainless Steel Tubing Procurement Data
Use the purchase order or drawing to define the product standard and dimensions before quotation. ASTM A269 is the general-service tubing standard; ASTM A312 applies when stainless steel pipe is specified. The two designations should not be treated as interchangeable only because the material grade is 316L.
