How many types of metal steel are involved in petrochemical pipelines?

1. Welded steel pipes, among which galvanized welded steel pipes, are often used to transport pipes that require relatively clean media, such as domestic water purification, purified air, etc.; non-galvanized welded steel pipes are used to transport steam, gas, compressed air and condensation water etc.
2. Seamless steel pipes are the ones with the largest usage volume and the most varieties and specifications among petrochemical pipelines. They are divided into two categories: seamless steel pipes for fluid transportation and special-purpose seamless steel pipes. And the applicability of seamless steel pipes made with different element contents is also different.
3. Steel plate coiled pipes are rolled and welded from steel plates. They are divided into two types: straight seam coiled welded steel pipes and spiral seam coiled welded steel pipes. They are usually rolled and used on site and are suitable for long-distance pipeline transportation.
4. Copper pipe, its applicable working temperature is below 250°C, and can be widely used in oil pipelines, thermal insulation accompanying pipes and air separation oxygen pipelines.
5. Titanium pipe, a new type of pipe, has the characteristics of light weight, high strength, strong corrosion resistance and low temperature resistance. At the same time, due to its high cost and difficulty in welding, it is mostly used in process parts that other pipes cannot handle.
